What can and must we do
about climate change?
Climate change mitigation is the best form of climate change adaptation, but we need both.
Effective climate change mitigation and climate change adaptation are essential. Climate change mitigation and climate change adaptation are two sides of the same coin - they need to be planned and implemented in an integrated way. Cleverly combined, climate change mitigation and climate change adaptation even create synergies and thus new economic opportunities. This involves measures for climate change mitigation that also promote climate change adaptation at the same time. And vice versa. Climatechange mitigation and adaptation to the consequences of climate change must therefore always be thought of together: in politics, in companies, cities and municipalities, private households and by all the actors concerned.
